During the first half of 2021, the police received a report that a woman had been drugged and raped, as well as a report that two women who sold sex had not been paid.

All three had contacted a man online.

He had then booked and paid for train tickets for the women who traveled to his home.

The police were then able to find the man via SJ, who lives in western Värmland.

Denies rape

The 26 women, who are covered by the prosecution at Värmland District Court, live all over the country, including Värmland, Stockholm and Gothenburg.

The man himself denies crimes regarding rape.

- He has both denied and acknowledged the purchase of sexual services.

He says that this is something that the women have invented to put him there because they have not been paid, says Brännlund.

Hear prosecutor Barbro Brännlund tell more about "sugerdaddyn" and how he got in touch with the women in the clip.

Sentenced in Norway in February

As recently as January this year, the man was extradited to Norway, where he was on trial for a series of frauds against women and was later sentenced to two years in prison.

He has since been sentenced on several occasions to prison for fraud.

SVT Nyheter Värmland is looking for the man's lawyer Carl-Henry Salomonsson for comment.

The trial begins on May 10 and is postponed to 25 days.
