The European Commission complained about "Russia's attempts to divide the EU" by paying for gas in rubles

“We regard Russia's decision to stop deliveries of Russian gas to Bulgaria and Poland as Russia being an unreliable supplier.

Russia's demand to pay in rubles is an attempt to divide the EU, we must respond in unity and solidarity, ”TASS quoted her as saying.

On April 27, Gazprom announced a complete suspension of gas supplies to the Bulgarian Bulgargaz and the Polish PGNiG due to non-payment in rubles.

As emphasized in the Kremlin, "payment in the proper form" will be the basis for the continuation of deliveries.

At the same time, as Gazprom reported, the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine is proceeding normally.
