- It is unreasonably long of course.

It can not be the intention that it should take two years to get a network connection.

If we are to get this conversion to electric cars, it needs to go faster, says Jenni Alterlind, head of E-mobility at Circle K.

These are two fast chargers with a high power of 300kW that require the power grid to be strengthened.

The fuel company Circle K applied for permission to connect the chargers to the electricity network company Vattenfall over two years ago.

The terrain has become more difficult

Vattenfall's explanation for the fact that it has taken so long is that it has been extra complicated to strengthen the electricity grid.

A new substation has been required that is located in difficult terrain that can only be reached via a cycle path and where crane trucks cannot reach.

- In this case, the customer has had to wait longer to get their request answered than what is desirable, of course, and we deeply regret that.

But the expansion process for a power line is time-consuming and this means that the lead times are sometimes longer than customers want, says Carina Netterlind, press secretary of the Vattenfall network.

The connection is delayed

Now only a coordination of power outages awaits for connection and the forecast is that it will take place within three to six weeks.
