German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an interview with the ZDF television channel that Western countries would not lift sanctions on Russia without reaching an understanding with Ukraine.
His words are quoted by TASS.
“Without mutual understanding with Ukraine, we will not lift the sanctions,” he said.
According to him, Russia "should come to an agreement" with Ukraine.
Earlier, Scholz said that NATO would not participate in the conflict in Ukraine.
