Bastrykin instructed to establish the circumstances of the desecration of the monument to Soviet soldiers in Lithuania

This is stated in the message of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the Investigative Committee, the vandals desecrated the monument by dousing it with paint. 

The report notes that the Investigative Committee has opened and is investigating ten criminal cases on similar facts of desecration of monuments in Lithuania.

Earlier, Bastrykin ordered an investigation into the desecration of a monument at a fraternal military grave in Latvia.
