The man was taken by ambulance to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
According to the police spokesperson, the injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A man in his 30s, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 40s were arrested on the spot.
All are suspected of attempted murder and robbery.
