“According to preliminary data, 54 people were detained during the May Day demonstration in Paris.

I once again condemn the unacceptable violence committed by these violators, ”RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier it was reported about 45 detainees.

In addition, the Paris police used tear gas against the participants of the May Day demonstration.

As noted by RIA Novosti, representatives of trade unions, youth organizations, as well as supporters of the “yellow vests” movement take part in the traditional May Day demonstration in the French capital.
