“The military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated two criminal cases against servicemen of the 54th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

As specified, the case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art.

356 of the Criminal Code of Russia (Ill-treatment of the civilian population; the use in an armed conflict of means and methods prohibited by an international treaty of Russia).
