Prime Minister Kishida, who has visited Southeast Asia and Europe, has arrived in Thailand, the third country to visit.


On the 2nd, a summit meeting with Prime Minister Prayut will be held to exchange opinions on the situation in Ukraine and confirm cooperation in the security and economic fields.

Prime Minister Kishida arrived in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, around 8 pm Japan time.


On the 2nd, we will hold a summit meeting with Prime Minister Prayut at the Prime Minister's Office.



At the meeting, Prime Minister Kishida said that Thailand is chairing the APEC-Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, and that it will respond to the situation in Myanmar and realize a free and open Indo-Pacific with China in mind. I would like to exchange opinions on the cooperation for the purpose and the situation in Myanmar, which has been more than a year since the military coup.



In addition to measures for the new corona, it is expected to confirm cooperation in the security and economic fields.
