Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the Presidential Transition Committee, said, "I will continue to talk as much as (President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol) agrees with the necessity of the failure of the new presidential office of science education chief," he said.

Chairman Ahn met with reporters in front of the Transmission Committee in Tongui-dong on the afternoon of the 1st and made this statement.

Chairman Ahn said, "From what I heard, the current (President's Office) seat can only fit about 150 seats," Ahn said.

He added, "If that happens, the Blue House organization will increase and I think that (organizational) fields will be created in the necessary areas."

Regarding the continued discussion of the possibility of running for office in Seongnam Bundangap in the re/by-election for the June 1st National Assembly, Chairman Ahn said, "I'm in charge of the entire announcement (the government task on the 3rd). In my head, that alone makes my head explode." I avoided an immediate answer.

Earlier, Yoon-elect Yoon-elect's chief of staff, Jang Je-won, announced today the appointment of a new president's office and said, "It's not the right time to make a new science education chief."
