The ministry stated, in a video presentation (video) witnessed by members of the Federal National Council, during the discussion of the topic "Policy of the Ministry of Culture and Youth", that the Federal Youth Foundation has worked over the past years on several main axes, including the issue of character building, building infrastructure and an environment that incubates creativity Youth, as well as engaging youth in various fields and sectors at the state level, stressing that the Foundation has succeeded in preparing young national cadres, in establishing a database of young leaders at the state level in various sectors.

She explained that by reviewing the database, it was found that there are more than 600 officials and leaders of young national cadres working for ministries and federal government agencies, including undersecretaries of ministries and directors of departments, as well as officials in the economic, health and educational sectors, and others concerned with energy.

With regard to empowering young national cadres, the ministry indicated that the government has a policy and orientation to involve young people in the boards of directors of federal bodies, as there are currently 30 members of boards of directors in federal bodies of the youth category, stressing that this policy is unique to the UAE, and there is no unparalleled anywhere in the world.

She said: "Even in the field of involving young people in international forums and events, national youth cadres have become part of the United Nations meetings, as well as their presence in the International Monetary Fund, in addition to their participation in many events and activities of the World Bank and many international organizations, and even the Agency Global nuclear energy.

She pointed out that the Federal Youth Foundation has promoted a concept based on empowering young people themselves and working to develop solutions through their efforts, by holding several youth circles that brought together youth, decision-makers and officials at one table and one circle to formulate several solutions in the empowerment file.

The ministry added that the youth empowerment policy includes all federal agencies and authorities and state ministries, as it measures youth empowerment in federal government agencies in a scientific manner, so that we see through it the number of young leaders and the number of platforms that transform youth voices into recommendations and policies, as well as determining the quality of programs supporting the preparation of youth in priority sectors.
