In Chita, a case was opened against a man who held a child hostage

“The investigating authorities initiated a criminal case against the citizen under Art.

119 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Threat to kill”) and Art.

127 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Illegal deprivation of liberty”),” RIA Novosti reported.

The child had previously been released by emergency services.
