Thursday evening, several Tisséo agents were carrying out a check at the Arènes tram and metro station, in Toulouse, when they saw two scooter drivers each with a passenger who had nothing to do there.

One of the team members then asked them to leave the site.

Which they did, before coming back and going after the agents.

And they were equipped with machetes, which they used against the controllers of the public transport network, causing superficial injuries.

After attacking and insulting them, they fled again.

But an 18-year-old passenger was arrested on the spot by the police officers of the anti-crime brigade called in for reinforcement.

A little later, the two scooters were spotted not far from there, at the Crystal building.

One of its drivers, also 18 years old, was caught by the police.

They were remanded in custody.

Nine Tisséo agents filed a complaint on their side.
