Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador has previously condemned Western sanctions against Russia and the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
He also expressed disappointment with the unsatisfactory work of the UN in resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
The Mexican leader also said that his country would not join the anti-Russian sanctions.
