At 15.15 on Saturday, the puck will be released in the first Swedish Championship final between Luleå and Färjestad.

One who will be present in Coop Norrbotten Arena, or the Dolphin as many supporters choose to call the hall, is Marcus Persson.

He sees every home match that the team plays on site in the ice rink - and has only missed one home match since 2017. He shares the great interest in ice hockey and Luleå Hockey with his father Lasse Persson.

- When it comes to the club and the team, Marcus is in control of most things, says his father.

Get to meet their idols

Due to his diagnosis of cerebral palsy (cp), Marcus Persson finds it difficult to control much of his movements and voice.

But his thoughts are fully clear and he follows his Luleå Hockey in ups and downs.

When he enters the hall in connection with Luleå's training, the goalkeeping star Joel Lassinanti sees him and he visits Marcus.

Then Radek Muzik passes by and taps the club in the glass as a greeting.

And hill Kim Johansson sends a greeting to the family.

- It is a way for Marcus to be noticed.

It lifts when you get to meet your idols and see that they see one - it is so incredibly valuable, says Lasse and looks at Marcus.

"I'm nervous"

Marcus is asked what his feelings are when he sees the players preparing for the first Swedish Championship final:

- I'm nervous, he says.

The duo will recharge in the same way as before each match.

- We check a little elite prospects, study teams, the little we need to study.

Only the father needs to be updated.

And then we check the line-up that is released on social media two hours before the start of the match, says Lasse.

Then they list a number of other routines and mention that they always take the same path into the arena.

The dolphin is his second home

Marcus Persson sees the Dolphin as his second home and when asked what Luleå Hockey means to him, he answers emphatically:

- Everything.
