A draft was submitted to the Rada with a proposal to impose sanctions against representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church

This was reported by TASS with reference to the text of the bill published on the website of the Ukrainian parliament. 

The draft proposes to introduce "special economic and other restrictive measures" against Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Department for External Church Relations (DECR) of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, deputy chairman of the DECR MP, and Metropolitan Tikhon of Pskov and Porkhov.

Earlier, the ROC spoke about Lithuania's appeal to the EU regarding sanctions against Patriarch Kirill.
