Russian pilot Yaroshenko called the case against him in the United States fabricated

According to him, "it was purely a set-up, a provocation to achieve only the goals and objectives that the American authorities needed."

“The whole case was fabricated against me ... so that I would become a small link in a large chain, as far as I know, to discredit the Russian government,” Yaroshenko said.

He also said that all the accusations against him are "just a screen to cover up the real intentions that the US authorities were trying to make."

Earlier, Yaroshenko told RT that after being abducted by the American special services, he was tortured "brutally and professionally" - so that in the future "you could deal with him."

Also in an interview with RT, he stated that he would try to condemn the United States government for the actions committed against him.

On April 27, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that as a result of a long negotiation process between Moscow and Washington, Trevor Reed, who was convicted in Russia for attacking a policeman, was exchanged for Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who was convicted in the United States.
