“On April 28, due to the establishment of dry and windy weather, high temperatures, which contribute to an increase in fire hazard classes, as well as an increase in the number of natural fires, an emergency mode was introduced in the Kurgan region,” TASS reports.
Rescuers began evacuating residents from the settlements of Prosvet and Novy prosvet, as well as from the village of Chistoprudny and the village of Chernavskoye.
Earlier it became known that about 500 people were evacuated due to a major fire in the village of Morevskoye and SNT "Malinovka" in the Kurgan region.
