“We do not send troops to fight the Russian military in Ukraine,” the head of state stressed during his speech.

According to him, the United States will continue to supply weapons to Ukraine while the operation to protect Donbass continues there.

“Despite the disturbing rhetoric that comes from the Kremlin, the facts are clear to everyone: we are not attacking Russia, we are helping Ukraine defend itself,” Biden said.

The American president also asked the US Congress for another $33 billion to support Ukraine.

The new package will include about $20.4 billion in military aid, $8.5 billion in economic aid, and $3 billion in humanitarian support.
