A 31-year-old man suffering from autistic disorders tried to rob a train this Wednesday evening at Villeneuve-Saint-Georges station (Val-de-Marne).

According to the first elements, he was absolutely unaware that he was doing anything wrong, reports Le Parisien.

A complaint filed despite everything

The 30-year-old is indeed completely passionate and fascinated by trains and spends all his free time in stations.

This Wednesday evening, he would have managed to enter a driving cabin without the knowledge of the SNCF agents and to start the engine of a train, which contained no passenger.

Railway security agents arrested him before he started the machine.

Taken to the police station, he was finally transferred to the hospital, his autism not allowing placement in police custody.

An SNCF executive filed a complaint, despite attempts by the police to dissuade him.
