China News Service, April 27. Ma Xiaoguang, a spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said on the 27th that the DPP authorities, out of political nature and one-party self-interest, wantonly confuse black and white, confuse right and wrong, and use illegal and invalid historical waste paper for hype, in an attempt to Challenge the one-China principle recognized by the international community.

All this is in vain.

On the 27th, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference.

A reporter asked: Recently, the DPP authorities have made a series of fallacies about the "San Francisco Peace Treaty", claiming that "Taiwan's status in international law has long been established", and spreading the remarks that the two sides of the strait are not affiliated with each other.

In this regard, Ma Xiaoguang said that we have strictly exposed and criticized this fallacy in writing.

Here, I would like to reiterate the relevant position and attitude to expose the absurdity, illegality and invalidity of this fallacy.

Ma Xiaoguang pointed out that the so-called "San Francisco Peace Treaty" was an illegal and invalid document issued by the United States after World War II to make a separate peace with Japan while excluding the People's Republic of China and the Soviet Union.

The "peace treaty" violates the provisions of the "United Nations Declaration" signed by 26 countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union in 1942, the United Nations Charter and the basic principles of international law. Both are illegal and invalid.

The Chinese government has solemnly declared from the very beginning that since the "San Francisco Peace Treaty" was not prepared, drafted and signed without the participation of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese government considers it illegal and invalid and will never recognize it.

The Soviet Union, Poland, Czechoslovakia, North Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam and other countries also refused to recognize the validity of the "peace treaty".

Ma Xiaoguang emphasized that there is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is a part of China.

A series of international legal documents, including the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation, have clearly and unmistakably confirmed China's sovereignty over Taiwan.

Although the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have not yet been fully unified, the fact that the mainland and Taiwan belong to the same China has never changed, and China's sovereignty and territory have never been divided.

Out of political nature and the self-interest of one party, the DPP authorities wantonly confuse black and white, confuse right and wrong, and use illegal and invalid historical waste paper for hype. It attempts to challenge the one-China principle recognized by the international community.

All this is in vain.
