The first call came in at 17:55 and several police patrols moved out towards Årby center.
There are no signs of gunshot wounds or injuries, according to initial reports from the scene.
- We are on site, working and I know that we have cordoned off a small area, says police spokesperson Monica Bergström.
Since the turn of the year, the area has been a crime scene for several shootings and the police have described it as an escalating conflict between groups in Årby and the nearby district of Skiftinge.
