• 'Pegasus Case' Defense warns Margarita Robles of the hunt: "They're going for her head"

  • Catalonia The independence movement uses the espionage of Pegasus as a judicial, political and social offensive against the State

There has been no additional "gesture" by Pedro Sánchez before the ERC spokesman to try to calm the waters of the espionage case against 65 people related to the independence cause.

The President of the Government, questioned by Gabriel Rufián in the control session of the Government, has limited himself to repeating the four measures that the Minister of the Presidency Félix Bolaños already offered on Sunday to the counterpart minister of the Generalitat, Laura Vilagrà, and to insist on the will of the Government to act to clarify this case with "transparency", "objectivity" and "adhering to the law".

None of this has made an impression on the Republican spokesman, determined to press the matter to the end.

The will of ERC on this occasion is such that Rufián has come to warn the president that his group is seriously considering slamming the government, as it did in the validation of the labor reform, tomorrow Thursday in the vote on the decree of economic measures to alleviate the effects of the war in Ukraine.

Thus, Rufián has not hesitated to recommend Sánchez to "ask Mr. Casero for the phone", alluding to the PP deputy whose erroneous vote allowed the validation of the labor reform to carry out the economic decree of the war.

ERC considers the measures that the Government has announced to clarify the Pegasus case to be very insufficient and demands, not only clear explanations in Congress, but also the designation of those responsible for espionage and the corresponding resignations, both of those who ordered it and of those who knew it. they consented.

For Rufián, the case is "enormously serious."

“If they ordered it, it is terribly serious and if not, it is even more serious because it means that you have not cleaned your sewers and when the sewers are not cleaned, they fill with rats and eat everything,” said the Republican spokesman.

The PSOE does not like ERC, or Bildu, or PDeCAT, or JxCAT, or More Countries, or Compromís, and not even United We Can.

Well, you have an alternative, the PP, which is from the center, from a penitentiary center. "But explain it to your voters," Rufián settled.

ERC, with 13 essential votes for the Government, is a formation that does not usually anticipate the direction of its vote on different issues.

However, on this occasion, its spokesperson has suggested quite clearly the high chances that tomorrow its 13 deputies will not press the "yes" button when voting to validate the decree on economic measures to alleviate the effects of war.

And it is more than foreseeable that the ERC decision will be followed by Bildu (5 votes) and of course by JxCAT (4 votes).

The Republicans believe that there are still 24 hours for the Government to render accounts with the clarity that they demand about the case of alleged espionage against independence.

On the part of JxCAT, Pedro Sánchez has been openly blamed for being "responsible" for 'Catalangate'.

This formation requires a parliamentary investigation commission.
