The Saint-Brieuc Criminal Court (Côtes-d'Armor) sentenced a 56-year-old man to four years in prison for sexual assault on Tuesday.

The defendant was also sentenced to four months in detention for having escaped during the search of his accommodation.

He said he had come to warn her that naked photos of her were circulating on social networks.

The 50-year-old then asked his victim if she wanted sex.

Faced with her refusal, the man had thrown her to the ground and had forced her to touch.

A recognized attack

The assailant had been found because he had left his telephone number.

The respondent served twenty-one months in pre-trial detention, part of which was at his home.

He admitted the facts.

The convict was the subject of a warrant of committal, a registration in the file of sex offenders and will have to compensate the victim up to 8,300 euros.
