The Labor Inspectorate of Catalonia attributes the
illegal transfer of workers to the
Just Eat home delivery platform and its subcontractor Fleet Delivery Solutions , and for this reason it has sanctioned them in total with 250,018 euros.
Of these, Just Eat corresponds to a total of
187,515 euros
, while Fleet Delivery Solutions has been fined 62,503 euros, the Department of Business and Labor reported in a statement.
The Labor Inspection of Catalonia considers it proven that the Just Eat company is the
real company of the 183 workers
of Fleet Delivery Solutions and, therefore, this subcontracted company illegally supplies labor to Just Eat.
As a consequence of this illegal transfer, these 183 employees are harmed, since a
lower collective agreement
is applied to them than the one that would correspond to them if they were hired directly by Just Eat, argues the Labor Inspectorate.
In this way, these people receive lower salaries, since Fleet Delivery Solutions applies the
state courier company agreement
, while Just Eat applies the Catalonia office and dispatch agreement to its employees.
