Guterres announces his arrival to Ukraine

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced Wednesday that he has arrived in Ukraine, a day after he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, where he sought to persuade him to establish humanitarian corridors in Ukraine to evacuate civilians stuck in conflict areas.

"I arrived in Ukraine after I visited Moscow. We will continue our work to expand humanitarian support and secure the evacuation of civilians from conflict areas," Guterres said in a tweet on his Twitter account.
