Izumi, the representative of the Constitutional Democratic Party, announced at a press conference on the 27th that he would focus on appealing in the summer Upper House election.

Among these, with the catchphrase "living security" as the most important thing to protect the lives of the people, the policy is to strengthen measures against high prices, make education costs free, and improve security. We are going to appeal as three pillars.

Of these, in order to strengthen measures against high prices, the consumption tax rate will be reduced to 5% on a timely basis, and monthly rent subsidies of 10,000 yen will be provided to rental housing contractors.

In addition, it will appeal for free school lunch fees for public elementary and junior high schools, free tuition fees for high schools and universities, and diplomacy and defense system development through dialogue based on the reality of the security environment around Japan such as China and North Korea. ..

The Constitutional Democratic Party will announce its commitment to the House of Councilors election, including these policies, later next month.
