A bill to completely abolish the prosecution's investigative powers passed the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee in the early morning of the 27th, led by the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party plans to introduce the bill to the plenary session as early as today, but the people's strength is to block the passage of the bill without fail.

The National Assembly Legislative and Judiciary Committee passed the so-called 'Complete Inspection' bill that separates the prosecution's investigative and prosecution powers at around 0:10 this morning.

The bill was dealt with only six minutes after it was brought to the Judiciary Committee plenary last night.

The People's Power lawmakers who attended the plenary session applied for the Agenda Mediation Committee, claiming that additional discussion was needed, but the Democratic Party, which had a numerical advantage, effectively handled the Agenda Mediation Committee alone within 8 minutes.

Judiciary of the National Assembly: You all know that this hall was in a difficult environment to the extent that normal meetings were difficult during the course of the agenda conciliation committee.]

Among the six major crimes that prosecutors can directly investigate, such as public officials, corruption, economics, and elections, it includes the abolition of the right to investigate crimes other than corruption and economic crimes.

However, among them, the right to investigate election crimes accepted the proposal of the Justice Party and decided to leave it to the prosecution until the end of this year in consideration of the June 1 local elections.

The People's Power strongly opposed the bill, saying it did not reflect the agreement revised by the opposition and opposition parties just before the agenda coordination committee.

[Yoo Sang-beom/People's Power Rep.: The agenda that our floor leader and Rep. Song Ki-heon talked about together did not come up here.

I can't even confirm what it is.] The

Democratic Party said that the meeting could not be conducted, so it was dealt with within the Democratic Party, and it will be revised and uploaded to a plan coordinated by the ruling and opposition parties.

The Democratic Party plans to hold a plenary session as early as today to push through the bill.

The People's Power is a policy to mobilize all means such as a 'filibuster' to obstruct legal proceedings, so the burst is expected to continue.
