Sources: A new agreement to re-operate commercial flights from Sanaa Airport

Informed Yemeni sources revealed a new agreement regarding the re-run of commercial flights from Sanaa International Airport, without mentioning a specific date for their launch, noting that the agreement will include opening Yemeni offices in all regions to sell tickets, without limiting them to Sanaa and areas designated by the Houthi militia, as well as Regarding the use of the Yemeni passport issued by the Yemeni government in Aden, as is the case in Seiyun and Aden airports, provided that Sana’a airport will be opened permanently.

Regarding Houthi violations of the truce, the Yemeni army said that it had detected 1,924 violations of the UN truce in the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Jawf, Marib, Abyan and Lahj.

The Yemeni army explained that the violations committed by the militias varied between targeting with bullets and artillery, sending reinforcements, attempts to attack and infiltrate, flying reconnaissance drones, creating new trenches and fortifications, planting mines, and other violations.

For his part, the Yemeni Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, confirmed that the army forces, under the directives of the political leadership and the government, are committed to the UN armistice, but are ready to respond at any time to the militias’ violations if they continue their attacks and violations.
