A two-year-old boy died last Sunday at the Móstoles Hospital after giving way to a brick wall in the chalet where he lived

on Pastos de Primavera street in the Dehesa neighborhood of the municipality of Navalcarnero (Madrid),

according to sources from the Command of the Civil Guard of Madrid.

The little boy, of Spanish nationality, was transferred by his father to the University Hospital of the municipality of Móstoles, where he died that same night.

The event occurred within a private urbanization of chalets in that area of ​​the Dehesa de Navalcarnero.

According to the Civil Guard, the events occurred on Sunday around 4:00 p.m., when for unknown reasons part of the access wall to the garage of one of the chalets gave way.

At that time, the two-year-old boy was underneath and the bricks plummeted down on him,

causing a head injury and other very serious bruises.

According to police sources, the father, upon seeing the child's condition, put him in the car and took him to the Hospital de Móstoles, without waiting for the arrival of the Summa ambulance, since several people notified 112 upon learning of the tragic event.

However,

the Summa doctors stayed in place to provide psychological care to the relatives.

Agents from the Navalcarnero Local Police

and Civil Guard agents from the post investigating the events attended the scene.

Court number 1 of Navalcarnero has taken over the proceedings.

The residents of the area were very concerned yesterday about what happened after receiving some messages.

Among the WhatsApp groups of several communities, a notice of what happened was circulated, requesting the

review of similar walls located in the chalets

to check their condition and avoid accidents as dramatic as that of the child.
