The weather Tuesday: sunny near the Channel, the Atlantic, and on the southern half

From Normandy to the east of Hauts de France and the Grand-Est, as well as from the north of New Aquitaine to Franche-Comté and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, the sky will still be very cloudy on Tuesday, with sometimes fog in the early morning announces Météo-France.

Possible thunderstorms in the Northeast

In the Grand-Est and from the Massif Central to the Jura and the Northern Alps, the clouds will be more threatening, showers will occur at times, and in the North-East they could be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Everywhere else, after the dissipation of the fog banks, the sun will make beautiful appearances even if it will alternate with mostly harmless cloudy periods.

On the Pyrenean relief, however, some showers will be possible in the afternoon.

In addition, on the entire Atlantic coast the sky will cloud over in the afternoon, announcing a few showers over the Basque Country at the end of the day.

On the Channel coast, the northeast wind will become sensitive, gusts between 50 and 60 km / h are expected. 

Lows of 2 to 9 degrees in general

Minimum temperatures will range from 2 to 9 degrees in general, with a few small frosts towards the Massif Central, up to 7 to 12 degrees on the shores of the Mediterranean.

The maximum will be between 13 and 19 degrees on the northern half up to the Massif Central and they will reach 19 to 24 degrees in the south.
