“In the Nikolaev region, in order to intimidate the civilian population who are making independent attempts to evacuate to Russia in personal cars and on foot, territorial defense militants mined country roads and roadsides,” Mizintsev said at a briefing.
According to him, the roads are mined near the settlements of Kapustino, Suvorovka and Antonovka.
Earlier, Russian sappers said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, when retreating, leave behind mined lands, buildings, vehicles, and even boxes of chocolates.
