Lavrov said that NATO is entering into a proxy war with Russia

“NATO is essentially going to war with Russia through a proxy and arming that proxy.

“War is like war,” he said.

According to the minister, the supply of weapons to Kyiv is just another example of Washington's "uncleanliness" in relation to international law.

Lavrov stressed that the weapons supplied to Ukraine by Western countries are a legitimate target for the Russian military participating in a military special operation.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that in a month and a half, the United States supplied Ukraine with arms worth $1.65 billion.

Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry Pyotr Ilyichev recalled that Western weapons that ended up in Ukraine are a legitimate target for the Russian military.
