  • Emmanuel Macron was re-elected President of the Republic on Sunday against Marine Le Pen.

The outgoing Head of State won the election with 58.54% of the vote.

He becomes, at 44, the first president of the Fifth Republic re-elected outside cohabitation.

  • For its part, the RN, which has gained nearly eight points in five years, also has a historic score (41.46%).

Abstention (28%) has reached a record since the 1969 presidential election (31%).

  • Several hundred demonstrators, mainly young "anti-fascists" and "anti-capitalists", protested Sunday evening against the re-election of Emmanuel Macron in a few cities in France, marked by incidents in Rennes as well as in Paris.

  • At 22, Remco Evenepoel rejuvenated a little more on Sunday the Doyenne of the classic cyclists, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, removed alone the day of the serious injury of his teammate, the world champion Julian Alaphilippe.

The Frenchman, who will be kept under observation in Herentals (northern Belgium) where he was directed, suffers from a fractured scapula and a pneumothorax as well as two broken ribs, after being caught in a big massive fall, according to a statement from his team.

  • The fervor of the tifosi was not enough for Ferrari, on the land of the Scuderia, Max Verstappen won at the wheel of his Red Bull the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, in Italy, fourth race of the season, in front of his teammate Sergio Pérez and far ahead of Charles Leclerc's red single-seater, only sixth.

  • Spanish revelation Carlos Alcaraz continued his thunderous start to the year on Sunday by beating Pablo Carreno Busta in the final of Barcelona's ATP 500 tournament 6-3, 6-2.

At only 18 years old, the Spaniard made his entry into the top 10 of the ATP world tennis rankings on Monday, in ninth place, and becomes the youngest to join this very closed circle since the icon Rafael Nadal in 2005.

  • Paris SG won the 10th title in its history, equaling Saint-Etienne's record, after its draw against Lens (1-1) on Saturday, which looked like its lackluster season, between individual flashes and ultra rebellious, in an atmosphere anything but festive.

  • A record tenth title in a silent stadium.

PSG has once again proven that it is not a club like the others by being crowned champion of France without the support of its ultras, close to breaking with their team, players as well as management.

As announced by the Collectif ultras Paris (CUP), the ultras left their stands in the 75th minute to gather on the forecourt outside the stadium to celebrate this tenth title of champion of France.
