On Monday, Judge Arthur Engoron chose to convict Donald Trump for defiance.

He will now pay close to SEK 100,000 per day until the documentation has been submitted.

The judge defended his decision by saying that Donald Trump had repeatedly failed to deliver the documents.

"Mr Trump, I know you take your business seriously, and I take what I do seriously," the judge told Reuters.

The decision was announced without Donald Trump himself being present in the courtroom.

But according to his defender, Alina Habba, he plans to appeal the decision.
