tourist boat with 26 people sank off the coast of Hokkaido, Japan.

Yesterday (23rd) around 1:18 pm, a ship in the sea off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, Japan requested rescue from the Coast Guard.
The engine stopped and water was sinking in the bow.
About an hour later, the ship notified the company that the hull had tilted about 30 degrees, and contact was lost.
The boat, which can carry up to 65 people, is a sightseeing boat to see the local scenery and wildlife such as brown bears.
At the time of the accident, there were 26 people on board, including 24 passengers and 2 crew members, including two children.
The Coast Guard, the Self-Defense Forces, and the police sent helicopters and patrol boats to search, but it was difficult due to the high waves.
