Polish General Pytel announced the threat to NATO from Russia

According to him, "some persons" in Russia "are implementing the following theses: the collapse of the Western system, the collapse of NATO."

Pytel also spoke about the possible "ideas of creating economic organizations that are alternative to the European Union."

Earlier, the former head of the joint command of the British Armed Forces, General Richard Barrons, said that the North Atlantic Alliance seeks to avoid a confrontation with Russia, because it is not ready for it.
