The man was arrested in March 2022. During the past year, his partner and two children have been subjected to violence and threats on several occasions.
The man, who is in his 40s, has abused and beaten his partner and the couple's two children, according to the indictment.
The woman must have received derogatory comments and death threats, even when she was at work or when she was away.
The man is said to have abused her on several occasions, with his hands or with various blows.
At one point he is said to have stabbed her in the shoulder and in the arm with a knife.
Another time, the assault resulted in a rib fracture and hair loss.
According to the indictment, the assault took place behind closed doors, but also in public places.
The children were exposed - thrown into a snowdrift
The children must also have been subjected to violence and physical attacks, such as pushing.
At one point, the father allegedly felled a child and threw him into a pile of snow.
The man is now being prosecuted at Skellefteå District Court for several cases of assault, aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a woman, child peace offenses and several cases of unlawful threats.
