Earlier, the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council, Ursula von der Leyen and Charles Michel, congratulated Emmanuel Macron on his victory in the presidential election in France.
After counting 80% of the vote, Macron is gaining 54.81% in the second round of the presidential election.
