At least 100 people have been killed in an explosion at an illegal oil refining depot in the southern Nigerian state of Rivers, Reuters reported.
"The fire started at an illegal fueling site and burned more than 100 people unrecognizable," local facility manager Goodluck Opia told Reuters.
Reuters added that the NGO Youth Environment Advocacy Center (YEAC) also confirmed this.
