“Foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of the Russian Federation committed 10.4 thousand crimes, which is 8.1% more than in January-March 2021,” TASS quotes the message.
Also in the first quarter of 2022, the number of crimes against foreign citizens increased by 6%.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian side should have all the data, including biometric data, about migrants arriving in the country.
He also called for more careful monitoring of the influx of migrants into the country.
