Since supporters have often been talked about for the wrong reasons in recent months in Ligue 1, the unusual atmosphere of the Parisian title sums up a very turbulent season in the stands.

As well as the new excesses observed on Saturday in Lyon, where OL beat Montpellier 5-2 under the whistles of their ultras, or in Saint-Etienne, whose match against Monaco (4-1 defeat) was interrupted half a -hour for smoke jets...

At least the L1 2021-2022 is coming to an end, with the winner of the PSG of Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Messi, whose first Parisian season will have been quite discreet, apart from his clear strike in the skylight on Saturday (68th ).

Lens, reduced to ten after the exclusion of Kevin Danso (57th), found the resources to equalize in numerical inferiority thanks to Corentin Jean (88th), snatching a precious point in the race for Europe.

Here is the PSG crowned for the 10th time, equaling the record of Saint-Etienne, but the club lived a paradoxical season, with a new European disillusionment against Real Madrid in the knockout stages of the Champions League which accentuated the disenchantment between Paris and its audience.

"It's a shame for the atmosphere, but football is our passion. We try to have as much fun as possible, it's a shame it's not with the supporters", commented captain Marquinhos at the microphone of Canal+ Shifted.

Monaco unstoppable in an interrupted match

For its part, Monaco temporarily climbed onto the Ligue 1 podium and plunged Saint-Etienne back into crisis by signing Geoffroy-Guichard their sixth victory in a row in L1 (4-1), during a match disturbed by overflows.

Wissam Ben Yedder scored his 20th goal of the season in the 23rd minute, imitated two minutes later by Kevin Volland.

Wahbi Khazri revived hope from the penalty spot before the break (2-1).

But a new goal against his camp by Timothée Kolodziejczak, already at fault against Marseille in early April, gave ASM more room (3-1, 61st).

In the process, many smoke bombs and fireworks were lit in the stands during this match which marked the 30th anniversary of the ultra group of Green Angels.

Some rockets fell on the lawn, causing the match to be interrupted by the referee, who sent the two teams back to the locker room for more than half an hour, before a resumption where Myron Boadu ended the nightmarish evening of ASSE with a fourth goal (4-1, 77th).

This final defeat leaves the Greens in their place as roadblockers and under the threat of sanctions after these new incidents, yet another episode of this type this season in Ligue 1.

Goals and tensions in Lyon

About sixty kilometers from Geoffroy-Guichard, the Lyon rival is also having a very complicated season, but OL are clinging to their dreams of European qualification thanks to their broad 5-2 success against Montpellier.

As often, Peter Bosz's side offered two faces, squandering a two-goal advantage before proving much more attractive offensively in the second period.

Eighth with 52 points, the Lyonnais are momentarily four points behind fifth place.

Despite this precious success, the climate did not warm up between the team and some of its supporters, who shouted down Toko Ekambi: the Cameroonian striker, passer and scorer, had asked the ultras to be quiet.

After the meeting, Moussa Dembélé castigated the behavior of a "minority" of the public and its president Jean-Michel Aulas said he was "very sad about the attitude of the supporters".

"If this were to continue, I would prefer to leave. Football is not that," said the irremovable boss of OL.
