According to TASS, Silina noted that the members of the commission will work out, in particular, the issues of substituting the missing imports.

“The commission will assist the state program of import substitution and will take a direct part in the development of domestic production.

Now the share of Russian-made sports equipment is about 25%, foreign - 75%,” she said.

Silina stressed that if Western brands do not return to the Russian market, this will give a serious impetus to Russian manufacturers of fitness products and import substitution will take place not in ten years, but within three to five years.

It is specified that the commission included the heads of companies producing professional sports equipment.
