Dubai Residency provides 9,000 meals for fasting people during Ramadan

Stemming from its keenness to consolidate the concepts of goodness, giving and giving and reviving the values ​​of solidarity embodied in the holy month of Ramadan, and investing in its lofty values ​​and meanings to implement initiatives aimed at solidarity, compassion and human communication among all segments of society, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai organized the “Farah Saim” initiative by allocating and setting up a Ramadan tent To break the fast of the fasting people of the assistance category from various members of society according to 300 meals per day throughout the days of the holy month of Ramadan, to reach 9,000 meals per month.

Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said that the establishment of Dubai is a forerunner in launching initiatives aimed at consolidating the meanings of solidarity, compassion, altruism and solidarity in a Ramadan spiritual atmosphere that embodies the noble Islamic values, heritage and authentic traditions of the United Arab Emirates.

Major General Awad Al-Awaim, Assistant Director-General of the Human and Financial Resources Sector in the Dubai Residency, stated that the Sa'im initiative is one of the main initiatives of the public administration during the month of Ramadan, and comes within its charitable and humanitarian efforts and its commitment to social responsibility, and to encourage employees to work purposefully and spread the culture of volunteer work.
