“Today it was reported that the checkpoint in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region was subjected to mortar fire from Ukraine,” the message says.
As a result of the incident, the premises of the Rosselkhoznadzor caught fire, there were no wounded or dead.
As specified, Bastrykin instructed to record and investigate this fact, as well as to establish and prosecute all those involved in the crime.
On the afternoon of April 23, the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, said that the checkpoint on the border in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region was fired from Ukraine.
Starovoit added that the border guards and the military keep the situation under control, there were no casualties as a result of the shelling.
