World Bank: Ukraine has lost 60 billion dollars so far

World Bank President David Malpass said that Ukraine has suffered an estimated $60 billion in material damage in the wake of Russia's military operations in the country.

And the British (BBC) quoted Malpass today, Friday, as saying that these losses will increase as the conflict continues, noting that the early assessment of the damage does not include the increasing economic cost of the war.

The authority referred to Volodymyr Zelensky's statements in which he said that Ukraine needs seven billion dollars a month to compensate for the losses caused by Russia, calling for Russia to be excluded from international financial institutions.
