The state prosecution considers the sentence of Rashkin in the case of illegal hunting fair

“I believe that the punishment to which the court sentenced the defendants is, in this case, fair and corresponds to the nature, degree of social danger of the crime committed and the personality of the defendants.

The court did not establish any aggravating circumstances,” Ivanov said.

The Kalininsky District Court of the Saratov Region sentenced Rashkin to three years of probation in the case of illegal hunting. 

According to the investigation, on the night of October 28-29, 2021, in the Saratov region, Rashkin, armed with a carbine, without a permit for the extraction of hunting resources, “carried out a search, tracking and hunting of an elk.”
