The Democratic Party of Korea announced on the 22nd that it will accept the arbitration proposal proposed by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok for the 'examination and complete deprivation of the prosecution's investigation authority'.



Park Hong-geun, floor leader of the National Assembly, announced in a briefing after the general assembly at the National Assembly today, "The Democratic Party held a parliamentary meeting and decided to accept the proposal of mediation by the Speaker of the National Assembly."



However, he added, "I have made the final decision to supplement the shortcomings in the arbitration plan in the future."



The People's Power also decided to accept the arbitration plan today (22nd) by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok's 'examination and complete deprivation of authority'.



Floor Leader Kwon Seong-dong met with reporters after the general meeting of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly this morning and said, "As a result of intense discussion over the chairman's arbitration proposal, our party has decided to accept the chairman's arbitration proposal."



He added, "In fact, the chairperson's arbitration plan is a plan that the chairperson and the floor leaders of both parties met three or four times and reached an agreement."



Previously, Chairman Park delivered the 'Prosecution and Reconciliation Legislative Arbitration Plan' consisting of a total of eight clauses to the ruling and opposition party leaders, including separating the prosecution's direct investigative powers and prosecuting powers and temporarily maintaining the direct investigative powers.
