Accused of making threats on a police platform

In Nîmes (Gard), the Boulevard Alphonse-Daudet district was cordoned off by the police for several tens of minutes on Thursday afternoon.

The police intervened to arrest a man suspected of having, a little earlier, indicated on a police platform, on the Internet, that he was going to attack people, learned

from the services of the font.

The agents of the Anti-Crime Squad went to the scene, and arrested the suspect, as he left his accommodation.

The man would be known to the police as suffering from psychiatric problems.

It is not known if the man was armed.

A search of his apartment yielded nothing.
