“Time is working for us”: Sergey Polyakov, a veteran of the Alfa group, talks about militants blocked at Azovstal

- Sergey Andreevich, how do you assess the decision of Vladimir Putin to abandon the assault on the territory of Azovstal?

- As certainly justified and reasonable.

Why would we lose our people during a very complex special operation?

Deaths and injuries from the fire of Nazi rats hiding underground would have been inevitable.

At the same time, Vladimir Putin did not say anything about the need to stop the fire impact on the blocked enemy fighters, which means that it will continue.

- There are allegations that the resisters still have mortars that can fire at city blocks at a distance of up to 9 km.

- The blockade ring around the plant is now saturated with technical intelligence, drones are constantly in the air.

If someone leans out of the ground through the exits from bunkers or storm sewers, and even with a mortar, artillery fire opens on him.

Even during the day, even at night.

Aviation will continue "preventive" point bombing.

Following the fire strikes, our assault groups will move forward.

Today they took the Azovstal plant management.

And so it will continue: the positions of the enemy will be gnawed out meter by meter.

Time is now working for us.

- But still, the presence of an underground enemy garrison in Mariupol does not really contribute to the normalization of life in the city.

In your opinion, as an anti-terror professional, maybe launch some kind of special equipment in the communication where the Azov people and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are hiding?

- I do not know the plans of the leaders of the special operation taking place in Mariupol, they know better on the spot.

Theoretically, if it is known that there is a separate underground facility where there are no powerful hoods, it is possible to use gases not prohibited by international conventions - irritating, for example.

But can you imagine what kind of response “stink” will immediately arise in the West?

Therefore, I think, no chemistry will be applied.

There are simpler methods.

- What kind?

“There has already been a proposal to organize “maidan” number two for the Mariupol nationalists”: set fire to and throw burning car tires into the identified exits to the surface.

Another option: who prevents under the cover of armored vehicles to fit a concrete truck and fill the "rat holes" with concrete?

“According to a number of testimonies, there are women and children, many wounded militants of nationalist formations and enemy soldiers in the underground technical structures of Azovstal.

If you wall up the exits, they will be doomed to a painful death.

- On such a huge industrial zone with many communications, you can’t fill all the manholes with concrete.

The families of the Azov militants, whom they dragged into the factory catacombs of their own free will, were offered several times to leave the factory without hindrance.

They don't come out.

Therefore, I would not exclude the installation of simple concrete "plugs" from the arsenal of measures to influence the besieged.

At least there will definitely not be an enemy firing point in this place.

- How long do you think the enemy will hold out at Azovstal?

- I think no.

This is not a garrison of heroes of our Brest fortress, which was soldered by one faith, one idea, but a motley gathering of people with different motivations.

Marines, regular Vesushniks, mobilized from the "citizen" and keeping them all in check so far, demons from nationalist formations.

But they all have only two motivational moments.

First: the confidence hammered in by propaganda that when they are surrendered, the Russians will cut them into belts.

Second: those who show cowardice are shot by the Nazis themselves.

But it will not be possible to hold command for a long time on fear alone.

And how many reserves can they have - ammunition, food, water?

I am an optimist: Mariupol demons will crawl out of the dungeons and surrender on Easter.

Why do you keep calling them demons?

- The National Battalions, and indeed the entire Ukrainian army, are today saturated with anti-Christian cults.

Here in Rubizhne the other day, Luhansk troops captured the headquarters of a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and there is a real satanic temple.

Satanism is an American project that has long been implanted in the power structures of Ukraine.

They begin to train cadets in military schools, in nationalist formations - everywhere.

Rituals appropriate, tying bloody sacrifices.

Therefore, they have such exorbitant cruelty towards prisoners, therefore they do not feel sorry for their civilian population.

Real demons.

- Sergey Andreevich, if, nevertheless, one of the Ukrainian military personnel besieged in Mariupol manages to break out and seep through the posts of our cordon, will they not be able to enter the territory of Russia along with the refugees?

Isn't that really "explosive power"?

- Our villages are not on fire, there are no terrorist attacks in cities?

Special services do their job well, keep the ring of defense from the enemy, not only around Azovstal.

I have just returned from Belgorod, where I accompanied humanitarian aid from the Council of the Alpha Veterans Association for refugees and gifts for our soldiers.

In the border area with Ukraine, the situation is completely calm.

Of course, there is no need to relax, vigilance is required both from law enforcement specialists and from each of us, but there is no need to panic.

Russia has accumulated rich experience in the fight against terrorism, which is now being used.

We will not allow the fascist evil spirits to transfer the war to the Russian land and put an end to demonism in Ukraine.
